We really liked the friendliness and attentiveness of the staff, always ready to help!
I loved everything about the hotel, staff were great, I loved the room, was down to see kings of Leon at murrayfield stadium and the location was great and a ten minute walk, from the strain station which was brilliant after a long journey I would deffinately recommend to friends and family.
stayed 20/11 as was attending a wedding in Edinbrgh from arrival to departure we could not fault the staff in anyway, fantastic customer service.
found room no 9 a bit small for £120
I liked the open friendly approach of the staff. The hotel was exceptionally clean nand tidy.
Well situated to walk easily into city.Parked car, but parking is limited.....arrive early!Lovely hotel - would visit again
Bedroom was a little small :(
Its close to airport, yet convenient because its on the main road into Edinburgh and can catch a bus easily.
There was one male check in staff at reception (afternoon shift) that was impatient and rude to us, our immediate impression was we were not welcomed at all, personally I'll never stay there again. The carpark area was also too small, most parking spaces were taken up by staff, rather than guests.
We booked into Dunston House but were upgraded to Dunstan City across the road. It is more modern than Dunston House But both are equally as good. I'm not sure I like the TV on whilst having breakfast but the food was very good. Evening meals have to be taken at Dunstan House. We will stay again. thanks
TV on at breakfast
friendliness of hotel staffs, good breakfast, romantic place for couples
Near the City, Airport and City with car and bus easy to reach, excellent restaurant, excellent staff, comfortable romms (little dark).
good location for Festival (on bus route & close enough to walk); did not use restaurant in evening as stayed at festival all day.
No Complaints Staff were very nice and the hotel was very clean
We staid there just for two nights. The staff is very nice, they waited for us as we arrived late at night. We had a brilliant time
The hotel was well located close to the city centre, transport links into the city were excellent. My wife and I had dinner in the bar and were very impressed at the quality and value for money. We would stay her again. Clean, Comfortable and Friendly.
The staff were very friendly and helpful, the hotel was very well decorated and presented, also very clean. the breakfast and bar meals were also very good. we would definately staff again and recommend to anyone.
We found it very Victorian Quaint! Nicely decorated...room a little small but comfortable. Friendly helpful staff. We have found all the Scots to be lovely people. Enjoyed our 2 weeks in Scotland.
I guess maybe the Haymarket location was not the greatest. Maybe not as handy to the sights as we would have liked.
